Crescent House puts contemporary performance and movement in the spotlight, from opera and Golden Scissor Puppets to dancers involved in Chunky Move, alongside live art and the wonderfully hard-to-pin-down. Dance has always been the heartbeat of our programming, so it was only a matter of time before it got top billing. Diega may not look it, but she’s an old showgirl at heart, raised on black curtains, sickled feet, ripped fishnets and the thrill of waiting in the wings. Consider this a well-deserved standing ovation.
