As the saying goes: it takes a village to raise a festival. And we’re searching for Village People aka volunteers. Volunteers are the heartbeat of every New Year’s. You lot make the whole thing run smoothly from the front gates to the back corners. Without you, none of this exists. 

We mean it when we say: thank you.

How It Works 

If you’d like to volunteer: 

1. Buy a volunteer pass; it’s a deposit for your shift(s). Once you’ve done your bit, you’ll get a full refund. 

• If you bail or vanish into the forest without notice (please don’t) we can’t refund the pass. 

2. You’ll receive an email once you’ve grabbed a pass. Fill it out the form to tell us your skills, your friends, your ideal shift times etc. We’ll try to make it all line up so that it’s a nice experience for you and for us. 

• You can do one 8-hour shift or two 4-hour shifts. 

The pass value works out to around $30–$32 per hour of your time. Your energy is priceless, but at least it’s fairly valued.

Once your name’s in, your details go straight to Diega HQ where an overly-caffeinated, spreadsheet enthusiast will sort through it all and match you up.
